Why I Started Asking Questions
I was warned by some of my closest friends not to do this.
I’ve been criticized by Muslims for talking about Islam and by unbelievers for questioning what they believe.
But that’s exactly why I’m here.
I was born Muslim. I practiced Islam for over 30 years. I’ve read the Quran, and I’ve read the Bible.
I wasn’t born Christian, and I didn’t inherit Christianity from my parents.
I had to read, question, think, and learn.
And the more questions I asked, the harder it became to ignore what I was finding.
I thought I was searching for answers about religion. I didn’t realize those questions were about to challenge everything I had believed my entire life.
